It’s by the job. I don’t charge an hourly rate. Sometimes a day rate.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Meet in person when that’s an option. I always try to make the customer as comfortable with me as possible. I understand that they are trusting me in their home.

20 years of experience

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I learned this trade from my ex-husband. He was a professional wallpaper hanger and painter when I met him. We ended up running the business together for 15 years when we divorced I took over the business.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Mostly owner occupied homes. Remodel’s and color changes. Updating.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Stripped wallpaper off that was 30 years old over horsehair plaster. Then skimmed the walls to create a smooth surface to paint. Added a nice light grey. The walls looked amazing.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Trust word of mouth referrals. Call references.
