Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Each home project is tailored around the owner's preferences and the amount of preparation needed to complete before painting. As a result, line pricing can be difficult. Our pricing compared to area painters, however, has proven to be very competitive.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Typically I like to visit the customer st their home to take a close work of exactly what is expected from us. Detailed measurements and notes of work to be done are noted so they can be outlined in detail on the estimate. After gathering all information, we submit a proposal for the customer to review.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Years of on the job experience and training contribute largely to our success in painting. I have also had classroom style learnings from when I operated a local franchise. We also are in touch with the newest technology on paint with our experts from Sherwin Williams. Lastly, we are a lead certified company so hours have been invested in safely working in lead areas.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I've spent years painting while growing up for both our family owned farm and our neighbors. Through college I ran a small painting franchise where I added professional training to years of experience. Now, we operate under our own business to ensure we can offer the most flexibility in the work we do and pass savings onto our customers instead of a parent company.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We've worked with all kinds of customers. Although most of our work is residential, we have done some small commercial jobs. We work with decks, interior, and exterior painting!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
There are several area painters that do amazing work. We know we are right up there with the best. Be weary of bids that lack the details of the work to be done as this can be a source of future headaches. Also, each bid may use different processes and paint so he sure to compare apples to apples.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
*. How much preparation is needed before painting? *. Will we be changing colors or going with something similar? *. What are the most important factors when evaluating a painter (cost, quality, experience, safety, etc.)
