Introduction

For over 20 years, I've managed and maintained our investment rental properties. What this means is that I am not just a landlord, but I've been a plumber, electrician, window and door installer and also a framer and finish carpentry professional. Basically, I've done it all. Due to a recent change, I'm now taking on additional work for others as well. So whether you need a door changed out, a room repainted, or an entire remodel completed, I'd love to help make that happen as seamlessly as possible. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I try to be very fair with my pricing. In most all cases I provide up front pricing of the project, unless there are many unknowns. and even then, I will work with you to help understand the costs along the way.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I first want to talk with you to find out exactly what it is that you are looking for and then agree to next steps. in each step of the process, I believe clear and concise communications are essential. I never want to leave you wondering what is going on.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Years of maintaining and updating residential properties.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

It was thru necessity. I couldn't afford to hire out every job we had going on. i had to get good at being able to take on whatever came my way.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

A recent project that I took on was changing out some doorways to make them arched doorways. This was fun and added a lot of character to my customer's home.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

It is always best to have clear expectations of what you would like to see done. I'm really good at building and repairing things, buy I really stink at reading minds. ha ha. I will try and offer recommendations though, but having solid guidance is always best.
