What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Schedule the initial estimate, walk through the prospects home and understand the project and the customer needs. I talk through the timing of the project, the type of paint to be used and discuss my process leading up to and coming into the home.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have an undergrad degree in Organizational Leadership and I started doing this type of work when I was 18.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I started painting when I was 17, painting commercial office buildings then started painting rental properties for side cash.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I’ve worked with all types of customers, including homeowners, landlords, and business owners.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Do a little research on the companies you plan to give you estimates such as reading reviews and then look at cost and consider your comfort level with the individual representing the companies you’re considering.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

What type of paint should a customer use and should it be the same type in all rooms or is their different paint to use depending on the room. Should the customer purchase the paint or should the painter provide. Also, something to consider is how will furniture be moved prior to the work or during the painting process.
