We have been in the Central Kentucky area since 2010 and have refinished over 1500 kitchens in this area. Our team are professionals in what they do and our product is superior to products that you can buy off the shelf. We offer a full warranty with our finish and stand-by our warranty whole-heartedly. For Cabinet Refinishing, we offer virtually any color you can think of from any major paint brand. We can do this because we have our own in house tinting system which can tint to 90+ brands of paint colors. Our cabinet refinishing process is done by our own professional technicians who have done hundreds of kitchens in the Central and Northern Kentucky area. These techs, plus our special finish that provides durability and longevity, is why we stay at the top vs. other companies that just 'Paint' cabinets. We also have a warranty that is much longer than our competition or even longer than new cabinetry. We can complete most floors in just ONE day thanks to our proprietary Lightspeed commercial grade finish that cures instantly with our high-power UV light machine. When we are done, you can access your floor immediately. We also offer Traditional Floor Refinishing with Sand, Color, and Finish options. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Hardwood floors are priced at per square foot and depends on size of floor and level of complexity. Cabinets are priced per square foot and pricing depends on type of finish chosen for your cabinets. We do everything from basic renewal to custom colors with glazing and distressing. There are many options that can adjust pricing up or down.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

To begin with a new customer, first we gain an understanding of what the customer is looking for via phone conversation. We will offer suggestions, but mostly we listen to what the customer's needs and wants are. We then set-up a free in-home estimate to discuss how our process works and provide an estimate with total length of job needed. Finally, we schedule the job, order needed materials, and get the team prepped for the job.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Since N-Hance is a National Franchise company, all of our team is trained and well versed in the products and services that we provide. Product training is ongoing and we constantly look for new and improved ways to do our jobs. The management and staff have a combined 20+ years in the Home Improvement industry and 15+ years in the wood refinishing business.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

N-Hance is a franchise that I purchased to get out of the corporate world. I have always had ties to the Home Improvement industry, but N-Hance is something special. They have developed a line of products that nobody else has that allow us to give you a dramatic change in a fraction of time of traditional refinishing methods. The best thing is you can expect your finish to last 10 years or more instead of 2 or 3 years with traditional paint methods.

What types of customers have you worked with?

We have worked with everyone from the relaxed to the picky. To us, everyone is treated equally. Our job is to refinish your project to meet your expectations. Each customer is special to us and we treat them as such.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

There are so many it is hard to pick just one. If I have to choose one, I would go with a recent kitchen that we refaced from thermofoil mdf doors to solid maple, raised panel in a ultra white finish. Work in the customer home only took two days.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Read customer reviews. Make sure you ask to see samples. Ask if your cabinets will look like the sample. Don’t fall for low price gimmicks—we redo these kitchens all the time.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

What do you want to spend on your project? Make sure you set the right level of budget to get the quality of finish you desire. What do you want the end result to be? Think of exactly what you want the finished project to look like. I recommend going to a Home Improvement store or Kitchen Specialty store and take pictures of your favorites. Chances are we can make yours look just like your favorite. Finally, when do you want the project done? During certain times of the year, we can be 6 to 8 weeks booked out. If you have a specific timing, the earlier you call the better.
