Hastings Painting & Decorating is a family-owned business that has been handed down for more than three generations. We have been working with homes, commercial and business establishments since 1978. We house only trained and skilled workmen with more than 20 years of related experience. Our workers are highly trained and steadfast in providing excellent service that they can work well with managers, architects, entrepreneurs, homeowners and interior designers impressively.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We usually schedule a free estimate. We come to your property and assess your project and discuss the logistics and identify your needs and make recommendations.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am a 3rd generation painter. I have over 20 years experience. We have worked on commercial and residential projects. All of our painters have at least 15 years of experience. We also have references available upon request

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I was taught by my father and his father taught him. I am a 3rd generation painter.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Realtors, property managers, property management companies, homeowners. Insurance companies, general contractors Facilities managers

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

2 bedroom Condo painting project in the Chicago Loop. It took 2 days.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Always ask for see proof of insurance. Ask if they provide any type of warranty or guarantee

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

What are their goals for this project ( i.e Resale, basic up keep)
