What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My pricing includes paint. I charge based off the number of cabinet, or the square footage of a home for interior painting (so I’ll need some information before providing a quote).

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I like to have a preliminary call to understand what they want done and set expectations. From there, I will come see the space if need be. Following that, I’ll provide a quote and a date that I can begin the job. I always make sure that our expectations are aligned before beginning a job.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I trained under one of the best contractors in the Chicagoland area.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I’ve always been an artistic and creative person- I’ve loved to draw and paint, so this came nautically! The art of perfecting the sprayer for cabinets is something that I’ve worked on, and I’ve been loving doing it!

What types of customers have you worked with?

I’ve worked with everything from home owners to new business owners who are remodeling their store. Excited to grow my client base even more!

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I recently finished a cabinet refinishing job that I’m very proud of and happy with the results. The client wanted a beautiful indigo blue. Their cabinets were previously painting by another contractor white. I stripped the paint and used my sprayer to give the cabinets a perfect coat of blue paint. They turned out great! Typically cabinet jobs take about 5 days from start to finish (painting the frame, taking the cabinet doors and finishing, and then reinstalling).

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would make sure to provide the painter with all of the details of your project to get an exact quote with no surprises. A detailed timeline is also helpful! I do not charge if the job takes longer than expected, and some painters will, so understanding cost is very important.

Cost, timeline, anything unique to your space that you should mention?
