Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
In residential repainting the reality is every job is unique in its details and logistics and we treat it as such.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
We walk through every new job with the customer. We ask as many detailed questions as possible to help us understand exactly what it is they have in mind for their project. Our company puts as much focus on communication, customer service and customer experience as we do the paint job.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
All our painters have minimum five years experience before they are allowed to do any work for our customers.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
As the owner of Brammer Quality Painting I worked in the painting industry as a lead painter in both residential and commercial for many years before deciding to start my own company.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We work with customers in all areas of painting. Homeowners to remodelers and professional builders.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
We recently repainted all the upstairs woodwork and doors in a customers home to match the newly installed trim on the first floor. We first sand all surfaces, fill holes, caulk gaps and then prime everything. After priming we sand again and then apply two top coats of Sherwin Williams pro classic enamel. In all the project took about a week and saved the customer thousands on replacing their trim and windows.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Ask for references and examples or work and then call their references. If they don't seem professional they probably aren't.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
A customer should think about their time frame and their budget. If possible think about examples of what you would want your project to look like and show these examples to the professional. Ask as many questions as you can think of.
