What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Nothing feels quite as bad as feeling that you got ripped off. This applies both to customers and contractors. I like to talk with my customer so that they understand the pricing and that they are getting a reasonable price for the work given.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

First, I like to make sure that everyone understands exactly what it is to be done. Secondly, I like to text or talk to my customer daily so that they are aware of what is going on and what has been accomplished. I find problems arise on a job when there is a lack of communication so, I would rather over communicate, than under communicate.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I used to work with Benjamin Moore in central Florida to help develop paints for the company

I started painting for a friend of mine in the evenings, and he really liked my work and pay me well, so that’s how I

I’ve worked with all types of customers and all types of backgrounds, and I can honestly say that, and all my years, I have had 99% good relations with my customers

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I recently replaced a home for a friend of mine in central Savannah. Her home wasn’t that old and she decided to keep the original windows so we had a good time repairing and replacing that. It took about three weeks.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

There is a wide variety of tradesmen In Savanah. It seems to me that, nowadays, many of us get sloppy and leave the workplace in a mess. This drives me crazy, and I do not tolerate it on the job.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

In painting, we commonly say that the preparation makes the final job. As preparation on the job is often unseen in painting it is important to know what your contractor is going to do before the final coat of paint is applied.
