Michael Moon studio is a renowned muralist group that has been specializing in commercial and residential murals and hand-painted signs since 2016. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

The price range varies by different factors and style of the mural. Although, the ball park number is around $10-$25/sf.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Before actual meeting, I provide the rates and my portfolio so the clinets understand the idea of budgetting and quality of work. Once they approve, I meet with them at the site and discuss the scale, concept and quality of the project. Than I provide the quote of the entire project and time frame.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I attended the Ringling school of art and design in Sarasota, FL and got a BFA degree in Fine art. Painting and Sculpture.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

As long as I can remember, I was facinated with art. Therefore, it became a natural decision fir me to work as an artist and art related field.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I worked with many restaurant owners since I was an artist as well as Interior designer. I also worked with individuals as house wives to doctors who wanted mural for their kid's room or office.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I am currently working on a seafood restaurant in Augusta, GA. It is about 7000sf and I'm doing entire wall inside and three sides of exterior. This is 75 day project.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Experiences and portfolio would be the easiest way to determine the skill of the artist.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Theme, concept, media, size, quality, time frames, and budget.
