What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I charge $75/Hour for handyman services, with a 2-hour pay minimum. However some jobs have a set price I.e. Furniture assembly. There is also a $5-$20 Travel charge for customers that are more than a 10 miles radius out of West Palm Beach.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

A Phone Call briefing as well as photos really help.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Since I was younger, I’ve always been very handy. I always watched the men in my family work, and I picked up several things.

What types of customers have you worked with?

All types. Having worked for years in South Florida then in the heart of Atlanta – I have worked with an array of people. Everyone’s job is unique in its own way.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I recently did a geometrical painting on a 30 x 6 foot wall. It came out amazing. Looking forward to doing it again. I also did all of one of my clients entire patio set up. He loved it.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure it’s the right person for the job. I care more about the outcome, than the money. Also please keep in mind that when you search for the jobs, the pro’s are getting charged. So if you don’t respond, it can kind of be disheartening.

Are you really ready to get this done? Is this the right pro for the job? Am I getting the best value?
