For Murals: Cost estimates are dependent on 7 factors: 1. whether its interior or exterior work 2. condition of and any preparation of existing wall surface 3. scaffolding or other necessary professional equipment 4. use of specialty-ordered paints, gold-leaf supplies, etc. 5. time anticipated for proposals, revisions & painting 6. level of detail desired 7. client's budget

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

#1. meet at site / listen to their vision & expectations / take photo of area #2. research / prepare photorealistic design proposal(s) / re-meet to review & discuss 3. Accomplish the request!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

BFA & Masters of Fine Arts. Plus 30 years!

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I have always been involved in artistic endeavors and upon receiving my BFA & MFA continued to work professionally in the creative fields.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with high-end Island & Gated Community Clients, Commercial Building & Businesses, Schools, Community Organizations and a wide range of Private Residential Home Owners.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I spearhead the Hobe Sound Murals project - an ongoing endeavor to create an outdoor gallery of walls celebrating this area's rich history, current vitality and future promise. In the spirit of "Creating Community Culture", guest artists are invited to participate on each one. We have recently completed Mural #26!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

look for high level of detail competence and communication skills and kindness!

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

That Mural Proposals reflect significant behind-the-scenes time for image research, design concepts, reviews and variations / involve active material acquisition, preparation and specialty supplies costs / and also account for transportation, site safety & set-up.
