Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
We are not the cheapest company out there, nor are we the most expensive. We do have competitive pricing and we do quality work. Full Interior painting tends to be more expensive than full exterior painting.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Once we set a date to meet you we will come out and give you a free painting estimate. We will need about an hour of your time to understand exactly what you would like done, get our measurements and then run you through prices and see what options best fit your budget. After you decide to work with us, our sales rep makes a job folder for your job with all of the specifics and gets that folder to our production manager. The production manager will then assign the best crew for the job, give you a tentative start date and remain in communication with you until the job is complete and a final walk-through is done to ensure you are fully satisfied.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Our owner, Alyssa Lopez, has a Business Administration degree from CSU, as well as concentrations in Entrepreneurship, Marketing , Business Management and Supply Chain.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Alyssa used to work with her father who built homes, completed fix-and-flips and had a couple rentals. She helped him with the painting projects he had at the various properties along with her older brother. Then, in college, she started working for a painting company and loved working with them! She later started a business with the same company after graduating from CSU.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We have worked with a variety of clients and we encourage all potential clients to get a free quote! We usually do residential but we have done a handful of commercial properties including a floor in the Denver downtown History Museum.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
A recent project we did was an interior job. It was a hallway and a few interior bedrooms. The client needed it done in two to three days and we got the job done in one. She was very happy with the quality of work and the quick turn around.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
We would advise them to make sure their painter is fully insured. Insurance is very expensive in this industry and some painters cut corners and do not carry both workers comp and liability insurance. Also be aware of warranty agreements that say the company can buy you out of your contract. Those contracts avoid responsibility for bad work.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
How long has it been since this was last painted? What colors would I like? What problem areas have I noticed? When do I want the WORK to get done?
