Our company owner has a strong foundation in the painting and construction industries, built from years of hands-on experience working with a reputable construction company before starting Icon Painting in 2018. How did you get started doing this type of work?

I began my career working for an experienced construction business where I learned the ins and outs of the trade. Over time, I developed a passion for transforming spaces through painting and home improvement projects. After gaining valuable experience and a strong skill set, I decided to start Icon Painting in 2018, driven by a desire to create a customer-focused business that delivers exceptional results. My goal was to combine the skills I had acquired with my personal vision for service and quality.

From small residential projects like single-room repaints to large-scale commercial buildings, we have experience across various types of spaces and styles. Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

One recent project we’re especially proud of involved repainting the exterior of a historic Victorian home in Alameda, Ca. The project took about two weeks, from initial preparation to the final touch-ups. We carefully restored the woodwork and applied custom color finishes that brought out the beauty of the home’s architecture. The transformation was stunning, and the homeowner was thrilled with the results.
