Introduction

We’re Grant and Kaylyn, a two-person team of creators with different backgrounds in the arts, whose dream job is a combination of traveling and creating. We’re Oklahoma born but are nomadic in nature; we’ll come to you! Grant specializes in action and angles, having a background in figure drawing, comics, and fantasy. Kaylyn has a more draftsman’s approach, favoring traditional styles with plenty of tiny details. Together we’d love to make anything you can dream up. All artwork shown in this gallery is ours, done either together or individually. A lot goes into artwork, especially large scale. If you opt for a quote, it will be one straightforward, all-inclusive price that includes supplies, travel, two artists’ labor, etc.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
We price only by individual project. Complexity, supply cost, and artists’ labor are main factors.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
We prefer a quick phone call to determine the generalities such as the size of your wall and the complexity of the mural to be painted. Then, we send you a quote based on that information. Our entire process is very communication-oriented, so prepare to collaborate!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
We both have some college under our belts specifically in drawing and painting. We have shown art nationwide. Grant was sent to the Oklahoma Summer Arts Institute, shown at Bryn Mawr in Pennsylvania, etc. Kaylyn entirely was self taught from the age of 12 until college, whereafter her work was also shown in multiple galleries and events.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
We’ve been drawing, painting, sculpting, etc our entire lives, and found a way to turn it into a job we love to do.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Business owners, new parents, churches, real estate investors, office managers, and everything in between. Hopefully you too!

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
Our postcard style mural-on-canvas was completed in 7.5 hours after Grant built the canvas by hand. It was a very fun one!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
We love when a client has an inspiration board or at the very least a helpful description of the artwork she has in mind. Communication is key!

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Really think through your vision. Is there a lot of blue or purple? Do you prefer soft, impressionistic styles or bolder, more graphic images? Is the wall primed and ready?
