Introduction

I love art in all aspects. From restoring old and damaged photos to real estate aerials/listing photos to newborn & maternity shoots, I enjoy seeing the world through my lens. Murals, custom art work and illustration are my first loves. I hope to capture more than just a picture with each shot or piece. We offer headshots, with background and lights or just natural light sessions, photobooth rentals, on site photography and printing, commercial photography, events, murals, illustrations, and so much more. Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
We charge by the hour for our time, or by the HiRes file per shot. Hourly, you keep your session files, unedited; or you can pay a fee to have a 30 minute "mini" session and then purchase shots after reviewing them. We also have several packages available where you can keep all of your session files, and deals for natural and backgrounded sessions that include varying amounts of shots included. You would pay a deposit to book, and the balance is due on arrival.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
We want to see your vision! We would love to chat about what your goals and expectations are and then make a plan to realize them.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Our creative director Josh Jackson has been taking photos and videos for more than 2 decades. As an illustrator and photographer, he incorporates his artistic eye to every shoot. Josh started his studio Picture Perfect in 2014, and transitioned post pandemic to keep his dream alive. From murals to photobooth rentals and design, we would love to bring our expertise to your session.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Josh has always drawn and taken pictures, for as he can remember. It's a natural talent honed over the years into a true passion.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Businesses, models, families, couples, lots of babies, franchises, brokerages, clinics .... the list goes on!

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
Recently, we've shot everything from mini farms to music videos. I love every project I get the chance to work on. Our team is invested in each session, and want to create our best work yet every time. Our average boking is 2 hours, but whether a quick session or a full day event - we appreciate the opportunity to capture your moments, your way.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Find a photographer, studio, or videographer that is interested in your ideas. Being flexible and will to go outside the box will only help them created the best experience for you and the best results. How you connect with your team in any session will reflect in the final product. Discuss details that are important to you and listen to any ideas they may have to enhance your experience and diversify your shots. You can only change clothes so fast! So, book enough time to realize your goals and a little extra for the unplanned/spur of the moment ideas that come to you. You will be working as a team to create the shots, videos, or overall experience. Be comfortable and enjoy the process! Remember: You are in control of your session, make sure you're working with a professional that also feels that way. I can direct, encourage, pose, and position, but ultimately the call is yours on how you want your session time spent. Nobody knows what you want better than you. I am at your service.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
It's all in the details: Backgrounds vs. on location. Lighting vs. Natural light. Props, poses, casual, candid, artistic, or just not so much. Think about your location or venue, your budget, and time allocation.
