From custom calligraphy to full scale murals to painted clothing, I can design something amazing exactly for you! No job is too big or too small. My background as an artist started from when I was young. I come from an artistic family. I designed sets and props for various school productions as well as created custom silk screen shirts, programs and more. As an art major in college, I further honed my skills in a wide variety of mediums but paint and ink have always been my favorite! I won consecutive awards throughout college for mural creations, feat not regularly achieved. My personal artistic style tends to be bold, colorful and unique but I can do monochromatic, dark, etc - I am great at coming up with and implementing designs to fit specific needs. In addition to my skills and creativity, I am a product knowledge-certified paint professional. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I am fair and consistent. I don't charge some people more because I think they can afford it. Calligraphy pricing is done per piece, painted clothing is priced per hour and murals are priced per square foot.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Developing a vision of what the customer wants into a plan of action. It may be as easy as picking a font and ink color for envelopes to sketches and design consultation for a mural. Each client and their specific needs are unique and I treat them that way.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I was an art major in college. My primary focus and study was on creating realistic looking images and designs. I have been doing continuous education ever since graduation. I have done artwork on every type of surface and with a wide variety of mediums. I also a certified paint professional so I am able to suggest the best type of paint for any project.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I have been an artist my entire life. I started doing calligraphy at age 12 and had my first paying job at 14. I was an art major in college, specializing in realistic figure drawing and painting. I have taught college level calligraphy classes and have created artwork for major companies. I did my first wall mural as a gift for someone and decided that I would love to paint more of them. I have now done a wide variety of murals for both commercial and residential clients. Painting is a passion of mine and being able to create artwork for people is the best way I can use my talents.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have done print advertising, album covers and my artwork has appeared numerous times on television. I have done work for Home Depot, Coca-Cola, the Atlanta Ballet, Center for Puppetry Arts and many individuals, locally, nationally and internationally. I was the featured artist in two seasons of the Vampire Diaries, Christmas on the Square Dolly Parton Netflix movie and in the Neiman Marcus holiday catalog. I have done mural projects for a variety of local businesses and a national advertising campaign for Absolut Vodka. My work was also featured on CD cover art. All clients are important to me though, and I spend just as much time and energy on corporate client as I do on a person who wants a custom designed home mural.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

All of my projects are unique and have been a joy to create. One of my recent projects was recreating Times Square on a wall in a home office. Instead of “normal” advertising on the billboards and buildings, the client picked out all brands, movie posters, phrases, etc that were important to him and his family. It took a while to do but it was so worth it to add in all the incredible details.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Every artist has a unique style and brings something different to the table. You should take into consideration that as well as their skill level, background and experience. You have to feel comfortable with an artist to be able to trust their vision.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

I am what people have called an "idea girl." When you come to me with a vision of what you want, I am great at making that vision into a reality, whether it be a full scale wall mural or a painted denim jacket. I think outside the box to make each piece unique and beautiful.
