What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My minimum job is between $300-$500 depending on your location to my home. The need of scaffolding/scissor lift will increase the price. All my estimates include materials/paint.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

All I need to get started is a picture of your wall, any inspirational photos, and a budget if you have/know it.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have my degree in interior design which helps with color matching, but have taught myself all the art techniques I know and am constantly learning.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I have always loved art and design. I have my degree in interior design and when I was laid off of work it was something I just started as a hobby while my children were young and now is my full time job. It’s a real dream.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I work with home owners, business owners and schools.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I recently painted three recycling dumpsters. I enjoyed it because it I realized that even when painting dumpsters, I love what I do. The client told me the basics of what he was wanting and I immediately came up with a design for each of the dumpsters that he loved. The project allowed me to practice spray painting, which is NOT my forte’ but it ended up good and was great practice and still had a great finish project. The client was happy and it took a week to paint all three dumpsters.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Have a basic idea before starting.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

How much they are willing to spend, when they need it by, the dimensions of the wall/space, what type of surface the wall is.
