Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Customers should know that we use the standard Flat Rate pricing model that is very common in HVAC service industry. The repair cost is quoted upfront before work begins. We do offer discounts and special promotions throughout the year.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Our typical process for working with a new customer usually starts when they have an issue with their HVAC or Plumbing system. We answer all their questions over the phone and setup a time to send out one of our proffesional technicians to diagnose and go over the repairs.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Training is a core focus of or company. Each day we work on some aspect of triaging with the team. weather its technical or communications. We meet with our distributors regularly and train on new equipment and refrigerants. My personal education and training consist of two Bachelor's Degrees one from The University of Utah and one from Weber State University. I completed the HVAC program at OWATC. I have been NATE certified, I have my RMGA certification and I continue to do hours upon hours of training each year. I recently completed the ACCA Manual J,S,D class to help with proper load calculations.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I recently graduated from the University of Utah and I was trying to get back into Law Enforcement. in a previous life I was a Police Officer, I quit and went back to school to better myself. I decided I wanted to get back into it but was not having much success. I had a friend who owned an HVAC company and offered me a position. I started school right away and have not looked back since. So far it has been the best.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We have worked with all types of customers. We have done work for school districts, County, State. We have done works for major manufactures like Daikin. But our typical customer is single family home owners.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I am fond of all the projects we do. We are so lucky to have great customers who appreciate our commitment to excellence. But recently we did do a furnace install for an elderly woman (Josephine Davidson). I went by during the install and meet with her and she was just so happy that we were taking care of her so quickly. She was great. These project are typically one day installs.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
My advise to customers looking to hire an HVAC contractor is find someone you can trust. Many homeowners shop on price and treat hiring a contractor like buying a commodity. They think all work is done equally. Its not the case. Education, skill and knowledge vary greatly among contractors.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
I fell that homeowners should ask about the company values. What kind of company are you. How do you treat your customers, employees. Make sure the company is licensed, make sure they are up to date on new regulations and standards. Our number one Core Value "Customer First: Prioritize customers needs, wants above all else".
