Introduction

Eco Air Conditioning is a family run business in Austin, Texas specializing in high-efficiency air conditioning and heating. We love Austin — From the local music scene and Red Bud Isle to the ongoing quest for the best breakfast taco. Eco Air Conditioning was started by Joe Bykowski in 2011 whose HVAC industry experience dates back to 1997. Joe provided essential HVAC consulting services during the 2010 Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver and moved to Austin shortly thereafter. We’re proud to be a member of Austin’s local business community. Thank you for the opportunity to serve all of your HVAC needs.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
We are happy to extend discounts for Active military, Seniors, and our annual membership members.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
New or Old customers, we will treat you with the highest level of service. There is about 2 minutes of additional questions to get you set up in our system.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Our entire team goes through rigorous hvac training prior to being field techs with decades of work experience.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Eco Air Conditioning was started in 2011 to provide world-class HVAC services to our beautiful city of Austin.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We work with homeowners, landlords, and business owners to provide a wide range of hvac services.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
We pride ourselves on being prompt and honest — an elderly couple called us to their house and we were able to show up same day vs the week some other companies were quoting her. They had been getting 'top offs' off refrigerant and we were able to detect the leak and save them $1000s in future issues.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Make sure you are hiring a licensed professional. Outside of your roof, the hvac system is the most expensive component on your house, and making sure it is being maintained and repaired by a professional will ensure efficiency and longevity. Similar to oil changes in your car, regular maintenance of your hvac system will keep you comfortable all year round.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
There are big changes in refrigerant types from R22 to the new R454B. Make sure to ask your professional about these changes and what it means in the near future for your system.
