Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
We are a flat rate pricing company so you will always know exactly what the cost of a repair or service is prior to any work being performed. We are exceptionally competitive with our pricing but will never sacrifice the quality of work we perform. We provide only highest quality equipment such as Bryant, Carrier, Lennox, & Mitsubishi. We work with each homeowner to identify what the most cost effective solution is for their home that maximizes the value of their investment. Everything we do is backed by an unconditional 100% guarantee.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
It all starts with our office team, they will identify what your needs are whether that be emergency service, maintenance, or an estimate for replacement. From there will will assign a team member to assist you at your home for your particular need. Prior to your appointment we will send you an email with an image of the person coming to your home for security purposes, as well as a text notification with a GPS link so that you can see exactly where our team member is while in route to your home. From there, our team member will address your needs and provide an explanation and typically a lot of education to ensure you have all of the information you need to address the issue at hand. At that point, you can decide how to proceed based on what your needs are. No matter what type of appointment it was, we will follow-up to ensure that your interaction with us was nothing less than exceptional!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Each technician, system engineer, installer, is required to have attained NATE certification within one year of employment with Sunrise Comfort. Our generator team, both advisers and installers are all Generac Generator Certified. The entire team at Sunrise undergoes continuing education as it relates to products, industry best practices, and technical training throughout the year. Our service technicians undergo weekly in-house service training to ensure they have the most up to date information with regards to equipment service bulletins as well as diagnostic methodologies and testing equipment.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Sunrise Comfort Solutions is the culmination of over a decade of new construction services for the largest home builders in the United States, municipal projects for the City of Philadelphia and its communities, coupled with our penchant for renewable energy resources and academics. We founded a solar training school that enabled students from all over the county to attain their NABCEP (North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners) certification which was ultimately acquired by a national training organization. We are a forward-thinking company with the goal of delivering industry leading services using best in class training, employees, and processes. The name Sunrise signifies new dawn in home services by putting forth a new approach to home services with a “Customer First.” methodology. We understand that without you, we simply cannot exist.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
From project with the City of Philadelphia, utility companies throughout the Tri-State area, residential builders, and individual homeowners.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
That is in interesting question and we have done 1,000's of projects, it is not the project that we are fond of, it is the people we get the work with. Mainly with homeowners because we really get to know a lot about a person during an installation or service and develop a relationship. There are many older homes we have worked on which have had interesting histories but the people we get to work with is what we are most fond of.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Do you homework, educate yourself on what your really need and what the return on your investment will be. If you are replacing a system, this is something that will impact you and your families lives for the next 15 or more years. We have many articles on various ratings for systems as well as maintenance tips to help educate consumers so that you can make the best possible decision regardless who you use. We would love for you to use us but even if you do not, you should understand the terminology and what are the things that are most important when making a purchasing decision in our industry.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Identify what you need and really think about what is lacking with your current system, if anything. Do you have rooms that are always hot or cold, does it sound like a wind tunnel when your system turns on. Do you have allergies or respiratory issues (surprisingly your HVAC system can help)? What kind of control do you want on temperature, for example, if you have one system but want to be able to adjust the temperature for the upstairs and downstairs separate. Lastly, what is your budget? Are you going to finance the purchase or purchase it outright? All of these things will affect what solutions are available to you. It can be confusing, give us a call and we can help, even if you do not go through us we are always willing help.
