Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
We offer great products and services at a great value but our warranties and preventative maintenance package make us stand out.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
We listen to our client’s needs and offer them options to resolve their issues. The client’s feedback is important to us to reach our final goal of a satisfied customer for life.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Clark County Joint Vocational School HVACR, US Army Utilities Equipment Repair School Fort Belvoir, VA, RETS Technical School HVACR Centerville, OH

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I graduated from Clark County Joint Vocational School where I took classes in HVACR. I then joined the Army and went to Utilities Equipment Repair School in Fort Belvoir VA. After the Army I used my GI bill to attend RETS Technical Center and once again studied heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration. I have worked in the HVAC industry as an installer, service technician, sales manager, and business owner for over 30 years now.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Homeowners, business owners, rental properties, and property management.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
A simple, quick fix of replacing a capacitor and cleaning the client’s outdoor unit gave them great relief on a 90 degree day when their child was about to have a birthday party. The gratitude they expressed when their comfort was restored at a fair price is what motivates me. She is a client for life and I am returning to perform preventative maintenance on her furnace in the fall.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Hire an experienced, licensed professional that offers regular maintenance and a warranty with every job. Build a lifetime, professional relationship with this person and it will save you thousands of dollars.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
The HVAC industry as a whole has experienced hyperinflation due to many different factors including efficiency standards, EPA standards, supply chain issues, skilled labor shortages and larger companies acquiring huge amounts of overhead. The price of the products and services has increased to offset all this overhead and you the consumer are paying through the nose for this. It now makes more sense than ever to shop around and find an experienced, qualified, licensed professional who offers a greater value than the bigger companies can afford. This will save you thousands of dollars.
