What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We are a flat rate business to protect the client from over charges on time and material type pricing. We make sure to take care of the client while making a reasonable profit to keep the company running for years. We want to provide a great service to our clients and a great home to our team.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We will go through their system and provide options for them. We do not push anyone to do anything they’re not comfortable with. We like to educate and help with any questions our new clients may have.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

We have over 50 years combined experience of learning on the job, manufacturers training, supplier training, and continuous learning where we can. The best form of education is on the job training which we have a lot of.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

My oldest brother talked me into joining the union right out of high school. I was running a crew by 20, and had my journeyman card by time I was 21 not long before I left the union.

What types of customers have you worked with?

We’ve worked with residential, commercial and some industrial clients. We do everything from service, replacements, new construction, to indoor air quality products.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

We helped a local animal rescue install some indoor air quality products to help keep the air cleaner and infection rates down if there was any type of virus going around. We love to work with charities and help when we can.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Look for someone who cares, has a warranty, isn’t the cheapest company out there. The cheapest doesn’t always mean you got a good deal, usually it means it lacks quality and there isn’t any return visits as they will stop taking your calls.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

What am I willing to spend to ensure my home is comfortable and worry free during the harsh weather. Often times we overlook one of the most important parts of our homes which is function over new countertops or new paint. Go for a week in summer at 110 degrees or in winter at 32 degrees with your hvac system not working and see which is the most important.
