What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We are extremely competitive and are a local family owned company with low overhead so we pass the savings onto our customers. We offer discounts for first-time customers, seniors, first responders, educators, and more to keep our services affordable.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

From the initial call you are dealing with an HVAC professional and not a call support center. When we schedule a time, we will show up at that time and not just give you a time range for 4 hours like many companies do. We come with a fully stocked truck and if parts are needed, we don't charge you extra to go and pick it up.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Many of the bigger companies are now being purchased by private equity groups and hedge funds and it's all about sales and upselling the customer for them so I decided to open my own company.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I worked in building trade and technology for many years and worked for some of the top 5 HVAC businesses in Kansas City.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I recently revamped a converted firehouse and installed an HVAC system there. Every day I do something unique and different for both residential and commercial businesses.

Go with your gut feeling, not just the name brand or sales pitch from a radio ad or commercial.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Are they locally owned? How long have they been in business? Do they stand behind your product and services? Do they offer a warranty? Can they provide proof of insurance including workman's comp and liability insurance? Are these their own employees or are they subcontracting out the work?
