When working with a new customer, we start by listening closely to your needs and concerns. After a thorough inspection, we provide a clear and honest estimate for the necessary work or any options available. Once you approve, we get to work, ensuring that everything is completed efficiently and to your satisfaction. We always follow up after the job is done to make sure you’re happy with the results and offer maintenance tips to keep your system running smoothly in the future.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’ve gained years of hands-on experience in HVAC, starting with my work at the VA hospital, where I honed my skills maintaining and repairing complex systems. In addition to my on-the-job experience, I completed technical college, earning certifications in HVAC that helped solidify my expertise. My training and experience ensure I can provide top-notch service while staying up-to-date with industry standards and innovations. I’m committed to offering reliable, professional service to all my clients!
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got started in the HVAC industry after completing technical college, where I developed a strong foundation in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. My journey truly began when I worked at the VA hospital, where I gained invaluable hands-on experience maintaining and repairing complex HVAC systems. After that, I decided to take my passion for providing reliable, efficient cooling and heating solutions to the next level by starting my own business, Hot or Not Air Conditioning. I wanted to create a company where customers could trust they’d receive high-quality, personalized service from a knowledgeable team.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I’ve worked with a diverse range of customers, including homeowners, property managers, and businesses across the Tampa area. Whether it's providing routine maintenance, emergency repairs, or full system installations, I’ve had the opportunity to work with both residential and commercial clients. My experience also includes working with institutions like the VA hospital, where I gained valuable insights into larger, more complex HVAC systems. No matter the size of the job, I’m dedicated to delivering top-notch service and ensuring every customer’s comfort.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
One recent project I’m really proud of involved replacing an outdated HVAC system for a residential customer in the Tampa area. The existing unit was inefficient and required constant repairs, so we recommended a full system upgrade to improve energy efficiency and reliability. We worked closely with the customer to select the best system for their home. The entire project took about 1 day, from removal of the old system to full installation and testing of the new one. The customer was thrilled with the results—they’re now enjoying better comfort and lower energy bills. It’s always great to see how a quality upgrade can make such a big difference for a homeowner.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When hiring an HVAC provider, I’d advise looking for a company with a solid reputation for honesty, reliability, and expertise. Make sure they are fully licensed and insured, as this ensures they meet industry standards and are protected in case of any issues. It’s also important to find someone who offers transparent pricing with no hidden fees, so you’re never caught off guard. Lastly, check for reviews or ask for references to ensure they have a history of satisfied customers. Don’t be afraid to ask questions about the services they offer, and choose a provider who takes the time to explain the work and your options. A great HVAC provider will always prioritize your comfort and satisfaction.

5. Do I need maintenance or a full system replacement?
