Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
At Clarks Mechanical we have straightforward out-the-door pricing. You will receive an upfront cost to have the entire job completed from start to finish and once agreed upon that price will not change. This means that you do not have to worry about us getting halfway through the job and saying, "We need more money" to complete this project! We are upfront, fair, and honest with our pricing, warranties, and guarantees. You will always receive several options to accomplish your project goals, this is to ensure we are meeting every budget, every situation, and every time constraint that our clients may have.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
At Clarks Mechanical we pride ourselves on communication. A typical appointment looks like this: 1. We will contact you to confirm your project details along with a time frame that works for you - You will then receive text communication with all booking details, technician details, and GPS arrival tracking along with a short biography of who will be coming to your home (when they dispatch.) 2. A certified, licensed, and background-checked technician will arrive at your home, complete a full diagnostic at a pre-determined price, and provide you with an incredibly detailed report that will include videos and pictures of the issues found along with troubleshooting steps. 3. You will be provided with several options to fix your issue and prevent the issue from occurring again. 4. If you decide you would like to move forward with the agreed-upon work, we can most likely complete the job the same day depending on parts availability or what is actually needed to get you back up and running. 5. If you are getting an install completed, we will set up a time and day for a team to come back and complete the installation, we will also bring everything up to code during the installation, pull all the proper permits, and schedule an inspector from the city to come check our work. 6. At this point your job will be completed with the highest of standards and care and you are now a Clarks Maintenance Member :) We will maintain all equipment for a minimum of one year and we will set up your next visit to make sure your new system is in good hands.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

We are a family-owned and operated business that prides ourselves on communication, thoroughness, and doing the job right; the first time! We have handpicked and recruited the best of the best technicians, comfort advisors, and installers from around the Nation. Our team has been built from the ground up with 5 core values always on our mind: 1) Respect: Treat others the way you want to be treated. 2) Integrity: Put honesty, accountability and ethics first and always. 3) Innovation: Constantly seek to develop, improve and sustainably grow. 4) Excellence: Deliver on the merits of products and services, with urgency and flawless execution. 5) Seek to “do it right” the first time.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
We realized we wanted to own our own service company when we got tired and beat down from working for large corporations or private equity investors. We missed the feeling of working in our communities and providing clients with reasonable solutions that were custom to their needs. With large companies/corporations it can become a process of only focusing on the "highest price and the bottom-line," we are not that type of company, and we will never be that type of company. We work in the communities we live in, our kids go to the same schools, and we are most likely already your friend or neighbor. We hope that you choose us to build a working relationship with because we will do everything we can to always uphold our standards and core values, keep our prices fair and reasonable, and treat you with respect and understanding.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We work with all types of clients. We also work with clients on a budget and that have major time constraints on project deadlines. We offer the best payment plans in the area and work with good credit, bad credit, and no credit.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
We are huge fans of completing indoor air quality projects (IAQ), there is nothing better than having clients write raving reviews and sending gifts to the office because they can finally breath in their own homes! We have amazing filtration and UV light solutions for ducting systems that kill mold, viruses, allergens, odors, bacteria, and rid your home of dust, debris, and growth.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Before hiring a contractor to complete any project in your home you should consider doing the following: 1) Make sure they are licensed/bonded/insured 2) Decide if you want to work with an expensive corporation or private equity company OR if you would like to support a "mom and pop." 3) Make sure the contractor is going to install equipment that will meet all new regulations for 2025. We have a high efficiency mandate upon us and Colorado House Bill 23-1161 (Clean Air Act) was passed and is being heavily enforced.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
A few things to consider before setting up an appointment with a professional would include: 1) When are you available to start the project? We have major price increases from manufactures every week and we are getting ready to experience a high-efficiency equipment mandate, if you are simply budgeting for a project be prepared for a price increase or equipment upgrade change to occur if you are planning on booking a month or more out after your visit. 2) What is your budget? Having a reasonable budget for today's current rates is crucial, we have a lot of changes coming up in the industry and unfortunately prices are simply not what they used to be. Be realistic.
