Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Some of our discounts include, military, veteran, first responders, and teachers. Whether it's a discount, a waived service fee with a repair, or just a discount for a great review we have them here! We are dedicated to doing the job right at a fair price. We may not be the cheapest but we do not cut corners EVER. We offer many discounts and incentives for our loyal customers. We care for our customers and realize they have other places they'd like to spend their money so we keep our prices fair and reward our customers.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
First and foremost we need the customers basic information. (can't fix the problem if we can't look at the unit ;) While during our first conversation we happily answer every question they have that can be answered by phone. We will then schedule an appointment to come and investigate the issue they are having. Upon arrival we explain more about our company, get to know our new customer and invite the customer to watch us work if they would like. After the issue is found we present as many options as possible so our customer can make an informed decision that is best for their family. If we are running any deals we will let the customer know and upon approval will remedy the issue. In closing we collect payment for our services and hope that we have formed a long and lasting relationship with that customer.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
A two year degree from Eastfield Technical College in Applied HVAC technologies, 16 years in on the job training, NATE/ICE certification, and other training certificates.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I am a third generation HVAC professional. I learned the trade from my dad who learned it from his father in law. I've been doing this for 15 years and also have an associate's degree from a technical college for applied refrigeration technologies. I love what I do and have a passion for serving my community.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We are proud to work with everyone. When we say everyone we mean everyone; from sigle home owners to property managers to real estate agents. If you need a great HVAC contractor then we are the right team for you!

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
We were called out to a clients home and were told that they had a company out to look at their AC unit and said they needed a new one. Naturally they wanted a second opinion and so they called us. After a brief diagnostic we found the system needed a new capacitor and the condenser coil needed to be cleaned. The system was fine and we helped the customer save over 3,000.00! It was a great feeling to have been able to help and save them time and money!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
A couple very important queations to ask; are they fully insured? Do they have a legitimate company? How long have they been in the trade? Make sure you have run through each aspect of the project to ensure no corners are being cut that will make it cheaper but affect you in the long run, ie: duct work sized properly, seal the air leaks in the system, clean up after themselves. Don't let yourself be taken advantage of just because they are the lowest price.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
The biggest question is if their pro is insured? Without insurance problems and money costs are abundant. I was part of a job where one of the contractors did not have the correct insurance and the roof fell off of the building in a large store. The owners ended up in a lengthy court battle with the contractors that were not covered. Some other considerations are your budget, do some basic research on your project. Another important factor is if you trust the company you are hiring? If you can trust them and they're a little more expensive it is worth it.
