How did you get started doing this type of work?
My journey in the HVAC industry began over a decade ago with a strong foundation in hands-on experience. While attending college and working a regular office job, I had the opportunity to immerse myself in the industry through the guidance of my brother and uncle, who are both professionals in the field. Initially, I started by assisting our company's supply warehouse in the mornings, gaining valuable exposure to HVAC parts and equipment. Subsequently, I transitioned to the field, where I began replacing airflow delivery systems, duct systems, air sealing attics, and insulating attics.
Through hard work and dedication, I progressed from these initial tasks to HVAC system installations and eventually to roles as an HVAC service technician and later as an HVAC service sales technician. Along this journey, I also contributed as a field manager, providing guidance and support to technicians in the field. This diverse and comprehensive background in various HVAC roles provided me with a deep understanding of the industry and inspired me to establish my own company, New Era HVAC. Today, I take pride in leading a team of skilled professionals dedicated to delivering exceptional HVAC services to our valued customers in San Diego.
