Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Pricing can be tough on certain jobs that require a lot of labor. Most repairs can be done the same day and there's flat rate pricing for that. However if it's a refrigerant issue that takes a lot of time and materials to complete the task at hand. I'll be straight forward with you, I'm definitely not the cheapest and I'm definitely not the most expensive. I do quality work which reflects my pricing.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Receive calls, get customers information and a brief description of the system and what issues they are having, schedule a time and date.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Always taking classes to keep current since the industry changes every year. I am currently working to obtain the following certifications: Energy Star and AZ Heat Pump Council Master Technician. I also read industry publications and search out industry news daily.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
My father in law owns his own business and I worked for him and loved it.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Service, repair, and new system upgrades.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I helped a young single mother get a high quality unit without feeling overwhelmed by the price. We were able to help her and her family stay comfortable and safe during the AZ hot summer. We understand that replacing a unit unexpectedly can cause financial woh and we are dedicated to helping our customers navigate through their options.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
If you found them from a TV ad, you're paying for that commercial. Don't be fooled by tricks and gimmicks, nothing is for free. Grand Air promises to always be upfront and honest with every quote and will never perform any work without your permission.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Is the professional licensed, bonded, and insured? If not, there's a chance that the work they perform may not be warrantied, or not done correctly. Which might cost you more in the future. Is the service call really free if I choose to go with the reapair? From my experience as an employee with companies in the past, they add the trip and diagnostic charge into the repair. This job is not for the faint of heart; only truly dedicated and knowledgeable professionals last in this profession.
