Introduction

Our business model is simple...if you don't need it...we won't sell it. Being a small business, we don’t have to charge the prices the big guys do to cover their overhead expenses. We save on overhead costs and pass those savings onto you. We specalize in repairs only and we do them the absolutely best, fastest, friendliest and most important…at the best price

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Our pricing is based on the difficulty of the job...not the duration. Replacing wheels or resetting cables is much easier and safer than adjusting or replacing the torsion spring. We want to build long term relationships with clients as well as provide top notch support so they recommend us to their friends and family.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
The typical process is to show up at the home looking professional, being friendly in our conversation, as well as give accurate price quotes and make sure the customer knows when we are finished, their problem is fully resolved.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I am fully training by the Arizona garage door training school which was a 4 week intensive training school in which I received a certification of completion. There is no "garage door license" available in the State Of Texas

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I got started because I wanted to work in the garage door industry resulting in me applying to 20+ garage door companies. All 20 failed to hire me...so I figured out where they were going to send me to training...paid my own way to get trained...and started my own company. Now I am their competition.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I have worked with every type of customer which 99.999% of the time are super nice and respectful customers who just want their garage door repaired.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I love installing openers. The day and night difference from a previous chain opener that is loud and clunky to a higher HP motor with a belt drive is just awesome. The customer loves how quiet they are and I love installing them. They take me around 90 minutes to remove the old opener and install the new one.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Most garage door repair companies provide quality work and their prices are based on overhead. Companies with a bunch of staff and vinyl wrapped trucks are going to offer higher quotes than owners such as myself who do all the work ourselves and keep overhead at a minimum.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Customer need to get 2-3 quotes and compare pricing along with quality of conversation with the business on how they are going to take care of you and the garage issue.
