What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We have very competitive pricing as we are not a big box store. We are a family-owned business.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I like to come out to look at the scope of work required and then give a binding bid in writing. Scheduling from there.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

2 years of Technical College with the degree. We also do continuing training through our supplier so we can keep up to speed on all the new items such as Wi-Fi thermostats ductless mini splits Etc.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I started as a gas Piper for another company 25 years ago. During that time I went to school at night so that I could open my own company.

What types of customers have you worked with?

We have worked with private home owners. New construction builders. Remodel contractors. Some Light commercial and industrial work as well.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

We recently installed a new hybrid system. Mitsubishi equipment that was ducted rather than ductless. In the six million dollar house on Mercer Island. It turned out fantastic works great and the house is absolutely beautiful. The project took two of us about 10 days to complete.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

My best advice would be to get a binding bid in writing. Ask any questions in areas that you don't fully understand and get an answer that you're comfortable with and understand. As well as look at some of the reviews for that company. Also be careful some of the review sites such as Yelp aren't the best resource. If somebody writes a comment on there that's incorrect they won't correct it, or allow you to correct it unless you pay them.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

They should determine what their end goal is and what their budget would be.
