What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Once we price the project, we do not say, oh by the way we forgot about this snd have to increase our price. Only time we increase price after coming to an agreement is when the customer decides they want to add on something.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Scheduling of on-site Service Call or Estimate. Onsite Diagnostic or Project Estimate Evaluation Go over detailed options for needed repairs and estimate options. Answer any questions customer has about cause of equipment problems or project details. Allow customer time to evaluate options presented or if customer is ready, start process for performing repairs or starting project.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Started at 18 working for a local electrical contractor in Mobile, Alabama wiring houses. Joined the Marine Corps at 21 and became an Avionics technician. After the Marines my brother in law got me into air condition work.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Research as much as you can and trust your gut. If you don't feel good about what the contractor is saying, don't go with them. Find someone you trust and feel comfortable with.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Any specifics customer really wants included in project and budget they are comfortable with. Helps reduce buyers remorse and ensures project will turn out like they want it.
