Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
We work with suppliers that offer discounts so that we can pass the lower price to you.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Ideally, we want to work with a customer before there is a problem. Our goal is to provide preventative maintenance so that you don't need emergency services. A recommended example of preventative maintenance includes cleaning the coils of your HVAC system at least annually. An HVAC system with dirty coils works harder than it is engineered to work. Over worked systems have a higher than normal component failure which will cost you money.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Our technicians are licensed in NC as an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) HVAC Journeyman. Technicians complete 40 hours of training a year. As smart home systems become more popular, ongoing training is a necessity.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I started more than 25 years ago working with my uncle in his HVAC and appliance business. I have been trained to service major residential and commercial brands.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Our customers include large businesses (plants and office buildings) as well as single and multi-family residential dwellings.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
We recommend hiring a customer focused, licensed contractor.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Customers should consider the last preventative maintenance that was performed on their system/appliance, the age of the system/appliance, and the current cost to replace the system/appliance.
