Service and repair work is typically priced on a time and materials basis. Estimates can be provided for larger projects.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We contact the new customer in a timely fashion and discuss the situation. If we determine that a site visit is required to better understand the situation we schedule one. We arrive onsite assess the situation and make a recommendation to the customer. If the customer wants to proceed with the work we are prepared to do so.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have a MA Journeyman Plumber and Gasfitters License. I also have a MA Oil Burner Technician Certificate. I regularly attend trade training to stay on the cutting edge of the new equipment and technology available.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I have always had an interest in how mechanical things work. I enjoy the challenge of solving a problem. I started in the oil burner field which really fueled my interests. The company I was employed by also did plumbing work. I obtained an Apprentice License and completed the requirements to obtain a Journeyman License. Years later I still have a strong passion for the work I do.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I work with home owners to complete repairs or larger projects. I work with property owners who have multiple properties. I work with commercial customers to complete repairs or installations at their businesses. I work with contractors during building, remodeling, and rehab projects.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Always hire a licensed and insured professional.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Is my project an emergency requiring immediate attention? What is my time frame for completion of the project? Am I prepared to start the project? Ex: Permits, Other Trades, Shut Downs Ask the professional for their experienced based recommendations.
