Introduction

Advanced knowledge in boiler systems (radiant heat) and hydronics. My installations are viewed as a reflection of me. I always want my best foot forward. I go the extra mile to inform you on this long-lasting investment that you will be living with for years to come. I am also knowledgeable of all home and business HVAC systems, including split systems, humidifiers, UV filters, and multi-zone needs. I don't just size up your square footage, I evaluate your radiator or duct systems and returns for correct sizing. Often, I see many previous installs from competitors just replacing what is there, assuming it is correct. Please note that I do not post my insurance or licenses on this site due to security concerns, but I am fully insured and licensed and have this information readily available. /il/chicago/hvac/heating-air-conditioning-services-comfort-air

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Standard $90* per hour service call to diagnose and standard $90* cleaning fee for start of season checks. I am priced competitively in the local market and have the same supply networks as the large outfits. * prices subject to change

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I typically need to assess a situation and give a range. I am not opposed to giving a quote and all the info and waiting on the project so the customer can get everything they asked for.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have 20+ years hands on, trained from the best on new and old. I can name a system by sight. I am obsessive in my research, and I have additional training from supply houses and major outfits where I sub on occasion. I have additional safety training as a firefighter. I like to stay up to date.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
My father dragged me by the ear at a young age. Even after moving into a first responder career as my other career, I still find satisfaction in a good HVAC install.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Boiler installation, boiler systems, Steam heat, split systems, Heated flooring, Air conditioning, rooftop service, Furnace installation, Zone control, Wireless thermostats, Multi-unit buildings, Pump replacement, New construction, Rehab, Hot water heaters

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I replaced a boiler for a family who had carbon monoxide readings at above healthy levels before I even got to the basement door. I had the system shut down and replaced within a day.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
HVAC can be complicated. Most large outfits make you talk to a sales guy who has no idea how it really works in the installation process. While not always the case, it is standard. They can use spec sheets, but on something complicated like changing sizes or piping there could be added error and stress to your install.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Future changes to the home Zone heating and air issues (rooms not the right temperature)
