How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I was currently in retail management when my daughter Alicia was born. At the time my job was not challenging enough but enjoyed talking to customers and meeting new people all the time. After changing companies I found that it wasn't the companies i worked for but the industry I was in. A good friend of mine had started in installation of heating and air an thought i would give it a try. So i took a huge step and with the backing of my wife i took a huge pay cut and back to minimum wage and started something new. I found my enjoyment in the trades and at first I was terrible, running my drill in reverse the entire first day, I quickly learned how to be more efficient and with time management and constant training after hours moved up to a top production manager in 6 months. I love creating and helping other people an began to come up with initiative ways to be more productive and started training other technicians and companies my processes. During my growth I found a communication barrier between the customers and technicians and learned how to bring my customer service experience and knowledge to others. And with my love of the trade and continued training have become a highly skilled sought after technician. I started my own Company as I believe in honest hard work and provide options so that customers can choose whats right for them. I love to help everyone from my customers, manufactures in design, my team in growing them self's, and my peers in the trades with their businessnes.

What types of customers have you worked with?

We work with types of individuals from residential to commercial customers including, rental properties. We also have the privilege of being proudly chosen by some a lot of or vendors to work on their facilities as well and install their displays.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

We had arrived at a customers house whose system was not currently working. Another company was previously and quoted repairs. We preformed a complete system diagnostic and confirmed the repairs were accurate though the other company only diagnosed the one repair upon our detailed report and testing we had found a clear crack in the the carbon monoxide removal system (heat exchange). This could have been dangerous for the customer if only the repair was done. we also found the ac system was operational but had some concerns as well. we gave the customers options for all issues found and options as well to just to do immediate repairs to get system operational. Customer ask for replacement options as they felt due to age and repairs on ac and heater didn't make since to do. we provided multiple options and brands and custom build a solution with the customer. They decide to go for full replacement and installation was done next day and completed same day.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
When looking for a quality and reliable contractor check their Yelp, Angies list and Google reviews. Make sure they are licensed contractor. They have workers comp, general liability insurance and auto insurance. (not needed to be a contractor but protects you. What guarantees do they have? 100% money back, do they stand behind their work? Quality is key in our trade, if its not installed right it doesn't work right, no matter the brand. And if its installed wrong doesn't mean it wont run but you will pay for it in the end through utilities, and premature failure.
