unfold fold

We often offer discounts, so please ask about this month's special!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
When we arrive at your property, we will do a walk-around with you to gain an overall understanding of your dryer exhaust system. We listen actively about your concerns and answer all your questions before we get started - taking precise measurements before and after our service so you can inspect our work and know we provide great service and value. Our jobs typically only take 1-1.5 hours and are extremely affordable.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Our technicians are Certified Dryer Exhaust Technicians as recognized by the Chimney Institute of America (CSIA). Please contact us for more information.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Having worked on our own appliances and friends' and family's appliances for many years - and also worked on them professionally - we decided to take our passion for fire prevention and turn it into a service that anyone can benefit from. We feel good about helping keep your family and home safe from the risk of dryer fires!

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We have been so fortunate to work with so many different people, from residential home customers, to large condominium and apartment complexes. Each customer has such a unique story and even unique concerns. We take pride in helping our customers achieve peace of mind that their dryer is running efficiently and safely.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
A recent customer was convinced their dryer was new enough that it didn't need any cavity inspection, however his wife disagreed and hired us to perform our signature fire prevention services on their fairly new dryer and vent. Much to his dismay, we found a significant buildup of lint inside the dryer, which was caused by blockage in the dryer vent. The couple had recently moved into their home, but never had their dryer vent cleaned - and the previous homeowners had left a blocked dryer vent behind.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
We try to always do business with local businesses to support our community. If you have an opportunity to work with a local business, please support your local business owners! We suggest working with providers with experience and a track record of good business. Always read reviews and look for providers who are certified to provide dryer exhaust services and offer affordable pricing.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
If you are able, disconnect your dryer from the vent and visually inspect the vent and dryer hose. Do you see any buildup? If there is any lint present, there could be a lot more lurking inside the dryer cavity. It's advisable to have your dryer's cavity inspected to ensure there isn't any buildup of lint, especially around the heating element which is where fires can start.
