Introduction

Dryer vent cleaning is an essential task that should be part of every homeowner's and business owner's maintenance routine. The benefits, including fire prevention, energy efficiency, cost savings, prolonged appliance lifespan, and improved indoor air quality, underscore the importance of this often-neglected chore. We are a local family owned Veteran business, safety and customer satisfaction are our primary concerns. We don't just come out and ram a brush through a vent and tell you it's clean and run on to the next job. We run a full camera inspection prior to any cleaning, fully service the exhaust system and reassemble it, clean the core components of the dryer exhaust, run a full diagnostic test of the system upon completion and give homeowners all the necessary information to make decisions regarding their dryer vent exhausts. Our cleaning is an end to end service and is thoroughly documented and shared with the homeowner upon completion. We spend a lot of time and energy training our staff with each one being CDET certified and thoroughly trained on exhaust systems, at the end of the day I have easy and comfort knowing the work we perform is best in class and if there is something we are not comfortable with, we will pass and recommend someone better suited, as our reputation is or upmost importance.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
We have fixed pricing for all of our services. We have found this to be the most transparent for of pricing we can offer. All parties fully understand the cost before going into a project

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
The most common way we work with customer is via our online booking tool at Dryer Vent Specialist. The project we take are are so specific and we have successfully completed so many, we have found this approach to be most beneficial for all parties.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
We retain CDET (Certified Dryer Exhaust Technician) certifications from the Chimney Institute of America. These are renewed every two years and are specific to dryer exhaust systems.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
My family has been in the commercial Laundry business since the 1970's and I learned at a you age how to maintain all of the washers and dryers. I slowly started servicing other laundry facilities, primary dryers. Eventually we made the shift to residential, so we now cover commercial and residential.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
From heavy commercial to homeowners to apartment residence and everything in between like gym, salons senior house facilities and list goes on.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I was called out to investigate a loud noise coming from an attic near a dryer. I found that a booster fan was not installed correct and this same booster fan actually had a paper bag stuck inside. I was able to completely delete the booster fan and replace it with hard pipe, which gave my customer a safe and far more efficient dryer exhaust system.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
I would recommend to check out their Google Business Profile and get a couple of references regarding their work and personality. I would also check with the BBB and defiantly make sure that they carry general liability insurance.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
My personal question when I hire anyone in my home is "will the work be done correctly". In general I look at 3 things 1. Is this a reputable company. 2. What does their price model look like are they too cheap or too expensive and do I understand what my total cost will be before work starts. 3. Is this person / company knowledgeable about their craft, I can usually get a sense by just having a phone conversation.
