Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
We price fairly, and on bath remodels, we guarantee noone will beat our price for a "comparable" install. This is important because we have to compare apples to apples. If your budget is tight, I have options for that as well.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Typically we will schedule a time to meet with all decision makers, because there is a design element to what we do. Once needs are assessed, we can usually price right there on the spot. Most important, I show up on time!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I hold a BA, as well as an MBA. My partner holds numerous manufacturer certifications as well.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I started in the industry because I had a unique sales skillset. My partner started by working with his Dad over 30 years ago in a multitude of trades.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I deal with residential customers only. I like the personal touch this affords me.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
We are completing a beautiful outdoor Kitchen curently. Photos coming soon.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Get a feel about the person you're doing business with first. Second, focus on the product. Finally if the first two are ok, ask for a copy of their bond before giving them your deposit.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
I encourage anyone to get an idea about what things cost before contacting a pro. This helps all parties involved. Often times customers overpay because they think things cost more than they actually are. Or, the reverse can happen, for example, I recently had a customer who thought a full shower replacement would be under $1000.
