What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We run discounts in the spring, early winter, and late winter. We do discounts for widows, military, and disabled.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

For customers that would like to know more about Fine Comfort and are interested in using them as their HVAC company I like to do a free in house consultation. Letting them know me and me know them. Educating them on their current system and its condition.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

My name is Dan Benna. I started out in the union and then went to a residential company. I worked under master techs and learned a lot. I did not like how the commercial company I worked for took advantage of getting paid by the hour and how the residential company I worked for pushed customers to replace their systems before they were needed to be replaced. I started my company to provide my customers with good quality service that is fair and just.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I like to stick to home owners and business owners. I stay away from most landlords because I have found that they do not want the right solution for their house or building but want the cheap solution.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I can behind an another company recently telling a customer their system is beyond repair needing to be replaced. The customer wisely wanted a second opinion and gave Fine Comfort a call. We went out and diagnosed the issues within 10 minutes. The repair cost was $200 for a new blower motor capacitor and a weak capacitor on the condenser. When your system needs replaced we are more than happy to be that company for you but when the price to fix your system is low we will make sure your system runs until it’s truly had its last breathe.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Don’t go for the lowest price, go for the right price and good quality. I’ve seen the nightmares customers of mine went through when going for the lowest price and then end up hiring me to fix issues. We try to be fair and right, not cheap and sloppy.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Warranty’s! This is crucial. I’ve seen company’s put in system and walk away when the system was never installed correctly. We provide a 10 year parts and labor warranty so you can rest assured knowing your system will be fully covered for 10 years.
