Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
The baseline hourly rate is $70/hr. This covers most business fees, thumbtack leads, travel cost and tools. The price can increase depending on the complexity of the job, or the supplies needed.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have worked under contractors in the local area for years now, eventually becoming a fully fledged contractor myself and working on projects throughout the triangle.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Jumping into contractor projects as soon as I moved to North Carolina ten years ago, I've found great success in the industry and a trusted group of fellow repairmen, engineers and plumbers.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
from homeowners or renters, to business owners and landlords, I'll work with anyone who needs a job done quick.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I recently installed a high end dishwasher for a customer. The dishwasher itself would not fit so modifications were made to the cabinets to make room. Took 2 hours and when finished, looked like the dishwasher had always been a part of the cabinet.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Be clear and descriptive so we can arrive with the best chance of success. The more information given, the less time is wasted figuring it out on the job.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Do you have, or need anything for the project at hand? We can pick up whatever you may be missing on the way to the job.
