My name is Bill. I am the owner of Vortex Heating & Cooling. I have been in the HVAC industry for 23+ years. Or I could say the HVAC industry has been in my life & in my family for 23+ years. I started at my Dad's AC company, in the warehouse, to get my feet in the door. I continued to climb the ropes, learning all the ins & outs of each position. Eventually, I opened my own AC company. A small, family owned and operated 5-star company. Where I now get to pass that knowledge to my employees. With integrity, knowledge, and experience, we, at Vortex, are Someone You Can Trust! What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We offer flat rate pricing based on industry standards. We offer military and senior discounts, please let us know so we can take care of you.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We will offer times we have available for the job you're requesting via messaging, if those times don't work we can work around your schedule. We can also call to discuss options if that's easier for you.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

On the job training is some of the best training there is! Growing with the industry is a BIG bonus! All our technicians are EPA certified and NATE certified technicians who are always learning to be able to assist our customers.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I got started working for my Dad's AC company as a teenager. I grew up doing AC. My Dad's company closed in 2008 due to him suffering from aTBI but I continued to grow and learn the trade. Opening my company in January 2021.

What types of customers have you worked with?

We work with all customers, you must own the home in order to make decisions for repairs on the a/c system though.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

We take pride in offering options the customer wants and not telling them what they need. We give our advice and educate you to make the best decision for your family. System change out take one day and it's always a great feeling getting someone a/c who has none when it's 95 degrees outside.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Do your research on the company, there are so many a/c companies promising the world and only some follow through. Price should not be your only deciding factor, the cheapest guy may not be there if/when you have problems in the future.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Does this company seem knowledgeable? Trustworthy? Professor? How are their reviews? Do your research and pick a good company not just a good price. Always get a 2nd opinion. All companies should be happy to offer a free 2nd opinion.
