Introduction

Osceola Air began as a vision of a young Zak aspiring to create something exceptional. Zak, a lifelong resident of Osceola County, tied the knot with his high school sweetheart, Tawnie. In his free time, he dedicates himself to raising his two sons and niece. Zak entered the HVAC industry right after high school, tackling tasks ranging from new construction projects to service calls over 12 years. Feeling the need for a change, Zak pursued a new path by attending contractor school, earning an HVAC contractor's license, and establishing Osceola Air. After completing all prerequisites for launching a business, Osceola Air was set to open its doors. The opportune moment arrived in the summer of 2014. Initially, Zak juggled working long nights and weekends alone while holding down a full-time job. By spring 2016, Zak felt poised to transition to running the business exclusively. During that summer, the first employee, Zak's wife Tawnie, was hired to manage office responsibilities. Since then, Osceola Air has experienced continuous expansion. Presently, our outstanding team collaborates harmoniously, priding itself on giving back to the supportive community. We seize opportunities to contribute whenever possible, cherishing the moments spent together as a unified team. Our strength lies in uplifting one another, sharing knowledge, and providing support during challenging times.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
At Osceola Air, we believe in transparent and fair pricing. We provide upfront estimates with no hidden fees, so you know exactly what to expect. We offer seasonal discounts and maintenance plan options to help you save on routine upkeep. For veterans and seniors, we also provide a special discount to show our appreciation.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Our goal is to make your experience as smooth and hassle-free as possible. We start by discussing your specific needs over the phone or during an on-site assessment. Once we understand the project, we provide a detailed estimate and walk you through our recommendations. Once approved, we coordinate the installation or repair process, ensuring you’re informed at every step. After the job is done, we follow up to ensure you’re completely satisfied with our work.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Our team at Osceola Air consists of certified HVAC technicians with specialized training in heating, cooling, and air quality systems. We stay up-to-date with the latest industry standards and technologies through regular training and certifications. Our technicians hold NATE (North American Technician Excellence) certification, ensuring we bring the best practices to each job.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Our founder has always been passionate about helping people live in comfort and safety within their homes. After starting out in general contracting, the focus shifted to HVAC, where we saw a great opportunity to help the Saint Cloud community improve their indoor air quality and energy efficiency.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We work with a wide range of clients, including homeowners, small businesses, property managers, and real estate agents. Whether it’s a quick repair, a full system installation, or ongoing maintenance, we tailor our approach to meet each client’s specific needs.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
One of our recent favorite projects was installing a new high-efficiency heating and cooling system for a local family. The project took about two days to complete, including a thorough check-up the next day to ensure the system was running perfectly. The family noticed an immediate improvement in both comfort and their energy bills, which made the project especially rewarding for us.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Look for a provider with experience and proper certification, such as NATE, to ensure high-quality work. Ask for upfront pricing and be cautious of any vague or hidden fees. Also, prioritize companies that stand behind their work with warranties and responsive customer service.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Consider the specifics of what you’re looking to accomplish – are you looking to improve efficiency, reduce your energy bills, or address a specific issue? Think about your budget and any constraints on timing. Also, consider if you want a provider who offers ongoing maintenance plans, as regular upkeep can extend the life of your system and keep it running optimally.
