Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Prices can vary dependent upon the application. For example, we do charge slightly more if the indoor furnace is in an attic, or crawl space. Additionally, older projects are sometimes NOT up to current code compliance and additional charges can apply. We do offer incentive savings to our customers & local energy rebates, & tax credits may apply - MFG rebates are available on some products & vary depending upon the season - Here are other typical discounts (1) Military, Law Enforcement, & First Responders (2) Teachers & Active Students (3) Senior Citizens (4) Seasonal Promotional Offers

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
The most recent that came out perfectly was a 1920's residential home project in Denver, CO that took 2 days. We replaced both the a/c and furnace & relocated the furnace in the basement which freed up more space in the mechanical room. Some new shiny metal ductwork modifications were applied & completely brought up to code standards. Our company converted the standard efficiency furnace to a high efficiency 97% modulating & ran PVC venting through the existing abandoned chimney. We also upgraded the homeowner to a tankless water heater, so all items are now H/E. This project was a complete makeover & the customer was extremely happy with the results.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Here are some key items to look for: (1) Is the business licensed, and insured? (2) Do they have a professional outlook? (3) Are they inspecting your ductwork & building envelope for proper sizing? (4) Does the company offer guarantees? (5) Are they priced correctly in your marketplace?

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Here are some questions to ask your HVAC professional: (1) Are you planning to own your home short term, or long term? (2) What is the goal you are trying to achieve with your new purchase? (3) Any hot or cold spots in the home? (4) How important is efficiency & overall performance? (5) Indoor air quality? (6) Utilities? (7) Budget?
