Hello and Thank you in advance for looking into my services. I take personal pride in helping clients gets the most out of their air conditioning INVESTMENT. Let's keep it in perspective, AC systems are the next biggest ticket item after House and Car. I have worked for the largest Residential HVAC companies and they frown upon REPAIRS. They have morning meetings teaching techs the benefit of hiking up repair cost to encourage replacing the complete system. They entice you by saying,"why would you throw good money on an old system that might give out next week"? Then sell you on efficiency and warranty. Don't fall for it!!! I do everything possible to get your system running. And if not, I will require that you shop around before settling on a replacement.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

There is no overhead so the savings is passed to the customer. I have worked for many well established Air Con. companies and they all have a lot of expenses which force them to inflate prices.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Honesty is the greatest factor. I treat all my customers as if they value the money they need to spend on whatever issue they may be experiencing. I honestly enjoy helping customers get the most out of their investment. Salesmen are instantly going to the "REPLACEMENT OPTION" if the system is over 8 years old.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have an EPA "environment protection agency" license that I received 10 years ago with allows me to handle all the refrigerant required with heating ventilation and air conditioning work. I attended an HVAC training school and was trained by some really good techs. I was very fortunate. Most Techs don't like to thoroughly train guys because they feel threatened. I've also been in the industry for approximately 11 years and I understand the business side of HVAC.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I had a two story house in Raleigh NC and I got tired of dishing out money on my upstairs and downstairs systems. I needed to know more.

I know all the customers you experience are only going to have the experience you give them. I've only received 5 Stars because I am very respectful and understanding. I am in control of my circumstances and if you are having a bad day... my intentions are never to make them worst. Have a Good Day.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I recently had a customer who had an issue with his Nest thermostat and it was a problem for over 2 years. He contacted me and was about a half an hour from me. I told him it was probably a simple fix and to send me pictures of the thermostat wiring and control board wiring in the furnace. He was an engineer. He sent the pictures and I gave him 2 options. He took the second option and I walked him through the process over the phone. He was so elated and it only took him 10 mins. He gave me an awesome review. Not always about the money.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Be leery of companies who are quick to condemn your system without thoroughly exploring all the options. They generally do not want you hovering around their shoulders....so hover! I have saved clients thousands because they called me for a second opinion.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Check the filter...lack of Air flow and dirt are the #1 reasons AC systems fail. Make certain you are monitoring your Filter. This will absolutely save you money in the long run. Clogged filters cause the system to run harder which results in failed capcitors. Failed capacitors lead to failed components. Failed components lead to Big Money. MAINTENANCE.
