What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We at Thomson AC offer competitive pricing, and are willing to work with our customers budgets through creative ways to save money.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We typically need a full name, address, phone number and email to create an account and book an appointment. Our dispatching software sends a confirmation text and email that the appointment has booked, and allows for technician tracking to ensure you know where your technician is and how long it will be until they arrive at your location.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

All of our technicians are properly trained and certified to complete work in a safe manner. We perform background checks and vigorous interviews on each and every employee that we hire, and we have internal training meetings once per week.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Thomson Air Conditioning was started by Josh Thomson around 2007. Josh started our company because he saw a huge issue with the way HVAC contractors did business, and knew that he could do better. We pride ourselves in our ability to communicate with our customers, and provide honest insight into the confusing world of heating and air conditioning.

What types of customers have you worked with?

We work with residential and light commercial properties. From hotels, to apartments, to multi million dollar custom homes. Thomson AC is the right choice for any HVAC Project!

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

We love installing ductless minisplit systems, due to their unrivaled energy efficiency and amazing functionality. We are typically able to install a single zone ductless minisplit in one full day, and have performed many recent installations in garages, to keep exotic cars cool, or to cool down a home gym.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

It is extremely important to hire a licensed, bonded and insured HVAC Contractor. Typically this means spending a little more money to have someone out, but it means your home, assets and family members can rest knowing that the job was done right and you are protected.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

It is important to provide as much information as possible to your HVAC Contractor, before you have them out for service. Things like system type, home square footage and unit brand are all important to inform your contractor, in order to prep your technician for what is expected on the service visit.
