What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We will meet or beat any competitors price when needed! We want to work with you and will negotiate a win-win price in order to earn your long term business. If a drive by bid is more convienient for you we will drive by with your access instructions. Otherwise our experienced and certified Arborist will meet you by appointment, at your convenience.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We offer a free onsite price consultation with a ISA Certified Arborist. We create a written bid to try to meet your budget; while planning to perform the work you need done in the best way.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

ISA certified continuing education courses. Live high climber training events through PNWISA. Vermeer Pacific sponsored events. Industry publications. Oregon State Extension University. PSU Business Opportunity Program business classes. City of Portland Tree Care Provider required workshops.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

We are an ISA Certified Arborist owned firm, with the highest level of skilled climbers on staff. Our Master Arborist high climber holds the designation only the top 2% of all Arborist hold. Ranked fifth in the world for high climbing proficiency. We started this business to offer our clients the very best tree service their money can buy. We are amazing at fine pruning the biggest trees, or using a crane to remove them. Our entire team works together to ensure our clients are happy with our work, customer service, and process on every job. It’s important that they feel that they would refer us to their friends. Most of the time we work on a word of mouth/referral basis! The owner, and full time ISA Certified Arborist John Page is approved to work on the City of Portland and Vancouver street trees. You can find him listed on the Friends of Trees website as a preferred Arborist service provider as well. We can also be found on the City of Portland's urban forestry website as a trusted resource. John also offers “Cat Stuck in a Tree Rescue” services through the Oregon Humane Society.

What types of customers have you worked with?

We work with residential, municipal, and commercial clients. We are a Friends of Trees preferred specialty tree service provider. Our crew performs the most technical tree removal or pruning jobs when needed. Ornamental Pruning, and all size tree care is offered year round. Our staff is run by an ISA Certified Arborist, and our high climbing ISA Certified Master Arborist is award winning.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Oregon Humane Society and WA County 911 offer our business contact information to people needing help, getting their stuck cats out of large trees! This is a community service, we try to come out to help as often as we can, and there is a fee.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

ISA Certified Arborist have many hours of training to obtain the title, have to be experienced, and have to take a written test to get certified. Only hire a trained professional to work on your trees! Get recommendations from neighbors, so that your whole street and neighborhood is well taken care of and looking great. We have been voted 2022, and 2023 NEXTDOOR Neighborhood Favorites!
