Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
We offer senior and military discounts if requested.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
We schedule a free estimate. Discuss what the customer is looking for and describe the process of how we would address these specifics. Then we type an estimate out and email it over to the client within 1-2 days depending on the scope of work and size of project.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have my OSHA 30 certification and my general contractors license. By law you are required to have a contractors license if you are completing jobs priced higher than $500.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I began doing construction working for my dad’s company for approximately 5 years. He taught me the hands on part of the business and instilled a hard work ethic in me. After working with him for 3 years I decided it was time to venture out and gain more knowledge from much large companies. I worked at SVBG for 4 years where we primarily worked with HOA’s and property managers. I then went over to ACT construction and completed 3 years there before getting my General Contractors license.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Individual homeowners, HOA board members, property managers, construction defect attorneys, apartment owners & managers.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
We recently completed 2 balcony rebuilds in a small condominium community in Santa Clara. Each balcony was roughly $28,000 and the project took 4.5 weeks for completion.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Check to make sure they are licensed, bonded, and insured and have references for similar projects.
