What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

There is a dispatch fee to arrive on site and diagnose or estimate a job. That fee is waived if hired to complete said job.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Typically a conversation over the phone is the start of a job to anticipate the scope of work and material costs. Then, a time is scheduled to arrive on site and form an approved estimate of the work. Depending on the size of the job, the work is then either completed on site or scheduled for the following day(s). A final inspection of the work is expected and a walkthrough with the customer is done to ensure all expectations are met.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I’ve completed related college courses in plumbing code and general construction. I’m a long time employee of a local plumbing company.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I started working for a plumbing company straight out or high school and quickly developed a passion for the trade. I rose from digging holes to running projects in a short amount of time due to the time and effort put into learning the trade.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I work with all types of people with all types of backgrounds. Homeowners, contractors, businesses and real estate agents.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Larger projects are led with an intent and focus to arrive at an earlier than expected completion date to ensure a healthy and happy project.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Communication is key in any project. I advise any customer to hire somebody that takes the time to sit down and explain the processes and potential factors that may influence the flow of a job.

What are your goals and desires for the finished product of the job you are thinking about? Create a complete image in your head of what it is that you want and communicate your ideas.
