Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

One of our repeat clients came to us for the third time to help him design another large commercial store for him. We got to space plan each of the areas of the retail space, select the racking and displays, help with the coding, materials selections and design a whole new facade for the front exterior. We enjoyed collaborating with the other design professionals on the job. A fun and challenging project for sure!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Take the time to select the right interior designer. Do your research to see if they have a certification or degree in interior design. How many years have they been in business and have they been successful at it? It's important to choose someone who listens to you and has the expertise to tackle your project. You may find a newer designer for less money, but decide the best choice is the seasoned one who has the knowhow; construction and design mistakes are not cheap ones.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
What do you want your space to feel like and what are some design styles you like? What are the primary needs and functions of the room(s)? What's your budget? What's your timeline for the start of construction? You'll want to begin working with your designer at least 6-12 months before construction starts.
